My name is Breony (or Bree) and I’m a 22 year old illustrator from San Antonio, Texas who attends the School of The Art Institute of Chicago on a scholarship. I’m passionate about art and have been drawing since early childhood, collecting numerous accomplishments and awards along the way such as the VASE Gold Seal (2016) and scores of 6 (highest possible score) for both my AP Drawing and Graphic Design Portfolios. My style range is incredibly versatile, and I pride myself in working well with clients in achieving exceptional artistry. My goal in life is to bring better POC representation to adult and children’s cartoons alike, and also making leaps and bounds in the world of fine art. In addition to this, I maintain a social media presence under the alias The Bree’s Knees (@_thebreesknees) where I make fun videos about being a young artist (and give tips to novice artists on how to grow their own social media presence) where I’ve amassed an audience of more than 20k.
